Goaltenders are a special
breed. Understanding what a goaltender goes through during a game and what he
needs to excel is our specialty. Our Goaltending training not only focuses on
the drills and physical moves necessary to play this complicated position, but
also the mental and physical aspects as well. Reading the shooter, making the
right decisions, reading the play, improving hand-eye coordination, increasing
timing values, aerobic conditioning, anaerobic conditioning and strength
training are all skills that are worked on along with the basics of:
Puck Control, Stance, Playing
Angles, Deflections, Screens, Rebound Control,
Breakaway fundamentals, Definition of different styles etc.
